I'm so glad we are, finally, having a Polyglot meeting here in Guayaquil. Have been longing to speak the language for a long time I actually miss practicing it although I try keeping up by watching direct t,v, in English only... it's a small problem with that because they insist on having the subtitles almost in everything they show and the bad part is the translations are no too good. Despite the fact that I work at the District Attorney's Office as an Interpreter/Translator, generally is no too often I get to use the language.. I will be glad if I find someone who I can practice with.
We will see you all at the meeting...
Bye for now

Welcome to Guayaquil Polyglot Network!
Hello welcome to Polyglot -Guayas- Network....
I thank you for your visit and interest on our network....
we are located in the city of Guayaquil, one of the largest on the Coast of Ecuador, also called the Economic Capital of Ecuador due to the spread out commerce and abundant movement towards business.
We are the most welcoming and open arms city of Ecuador the population is a mix of people from all over the world, especially those who look for a tropical climate to live in... you'd be surprised to find that the English language is becoming widely spoken as it's now a required subject at schools and second and third level education thus no school or college goes without it. In the old days... you were lucky if your "private" school had English classes.... I was.
We manage two languages: Spanish, my native language and, English my second language which I acquired on my 36 years of living in the United States in the beautiful State of California please, feel free to contact us on either one... we will try to help. Just ow, we are setting the Guayas Network however, I'd like for you to also visit the photo sections where later on, you'd find the most beautiful pictures taken over the Guayas River, and hopefully some other parts of the city... and yes.... I took the pictures. (yes I'm a bit conceded).
Our mission here is to help you in your journey to learn either Spanish or English, make that journey easy and that you'd find those filled with fun my philosophy is: "no question is silly it's only if it does not get to be asked"... so, go ahead... ask it as long as it has something to do with some one of the two languages, my city, mi country, ....... happy learning...
WELCOME TO POLYGLOT.. G. WAKEFIELD
