    New Chat

I have just added a      chat.

This new chat is under test, it still has to become more user-friendly. I am working on a better site integration, so you don't have to enter again your pseudo for instance. so, you can check profiles from the chat etc...

With this chat it is also possible to have administrators and moderators ... check www.userplane.com for more info...

The old Java Chat is very old and it has to be updated. The old java chat has no sound, no webcam, not chat room creation, do not work with special characters like Cyrillic or chinese ...

Polyglot has to keep moving ahead !!

regards,

vincent

Meebo will come back when it becomes good.
It's a new chat system and broken now.

Hi,
Sorry for that.
I think we should close meebo chat for now and wait until it has enough modalation features, then move back onto meebo. We will also look for an IRC client using UTF8 (for special characters like Chinese Cyrillic ...).

I like the ex-new chat, i just think people have to get used to it. Would it not be possible to keep both chats, so that people who wouldn't want to talk would'nt have to and people seeking to improve their accent could?

Brati,
Maybe you can help me,
I am trying to integrate the userplane.com webcam chat but I really cannot figure out how to use the integrated version of the chat.

the Instant install is very easy to use but it's not possible to integrate ...

Documentation for integrated version

Steps for integration : for me these are the worse explanations I have ever seen !
http://wiki.userplane.com/docs/doku.php?id=webchat

that would be great if you can help

regards,
v

It's 'Instant-Install' but I am working on 'Integrated'.

Here is what I have to do :

The Integrated package that you just ordered is designed for sites with a user database and/or a profile system.

The procedure is  here:

http://wiki.userplane.com

The first step in the integration process is to upload the XML file to your server and begin configuring and testing it.  In order for us to set up your FlashCom server we will need to be sent the path to your XML file on your server. The following list will show you which API URLs we request for which applications:

Webchat/Minichat: CSXML
Webmessenger: WMXML
Userlist: CSXML
Desktop Presence: DPXML
Webrecorder: WRXML
Mediaplayer: CSXML

Is this chatroom type 'Instant-Install' or 'Integrated'? Seems like 'Instant-Install' can't have multiple administrators.
