What can I do to add friend and Chat?

How do you mean?
The chat is a IRC Chat if I'm not wrong. You can login with either the Java-based client on the website (navigation to the left => Chat) or with an IRC-Client and that data

            connect to irc://irc.ircstorm.net:6667 and type /join #polyglot


I didn't get familiar with the friend system, yet. To be true: I just found out about it. Seems like you can send friendship-requests to people with some information. If both of you send that formular, you'll be marked as friends in the system. However, I don't know in which way this will be visible.
