Hello.
where did you see that you have to do a 5€ donation?
They say that you just have to do a free donation, so in theory should be ok also to donate 1€..
But I tried donating 1€ and it didn't work!

regarding translations and VIP membership,
You will become a 
VIP member[?] if translation team members voted for at least 5 of your translations.
people who are donated more than 5 € are now VIP

I have translated in the group of translators some phrases but i'm not a vip member.
Probably we must do all options.

That is a good question. You donated money and are still a regular member. That is not good and you deserve an answer from management. Others will be watching this to help decide if they want to donate too.
