    semi-commersial activities

Hello:)

I'm getting emails from people clearly not interested in exchanging languages, but asking me to send them stuff for their collection of stamps/coins etc. What to do? Is this ok?

In my opinion, it would be OK, if you were already friends. However, it seems strange to me, to ask foreigners for things, you want to collect (stamps etc.). Then the people could visit a special forum for that activities. I remember that PenSpinners from Germany have contacted PenSpinners from a US-site and wanted them to send special pens. This seems ok to me, because the board was only for that topic (PenSpinning), but as vincent said, the topic of this board is not collecting stamps, but learning languages, which seems - as you said - not to be requested by those people.
