1.Learn finnish 2.Travel to metal paradise!

Greetings to those who will read this!

I talk French and English very well. I would like to learn Finnish. Why, you ask? (well, you don't really ask, I know, but I will tell you anyway)

Because Finland has the greatest metal scene on Earth! Yes, my passion for Finland is mostly due to my love for metal groups such as Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, HIM, Stratovarius, Apocalyptica, Twilightning and Finntroll. But threw researches (short researches I must admit) I discovered some things about this country that I find incredible. I am decided to go there, at least to visit. One of my dreams is to go live there, but I have read that it is very hard to be accepted  if you're a  stranger. (as in many countries, actually) That's why I am looking for someone living in Finland and who could talk to me about everyday life and his/her impression of her nation. I would like to meet someone who lives there, who is there when things go wrong or right. What is the Finnish lifestyle? That's what I'm curious about. Of course, I would like to learn Finnish too as I wrote before, but I think talking with a real Finnish person is even more important.

Any volunteer?

Finland seems even more like paradise when you talk about it. :D

What did you love so much when you were there? Why do you say it's a beautiful country and people are very nice? What does Finland have in particular?

I'm not a Finn ... but if there's one for Finnikas and one spare left for me, that would be great! I'm planning to devote more time to Finnish over the summer and learn as much as I can on my own, but it would be great having someone to chat over msn/yahoo about the language, culture and everything. I can teach you Croatian and English, and some basics of Spanish or Italian.

I know I don't meet your criteria - but just wanted to add... Go to Finland! it is awesome! I spent 3 months living there as part of my Uni course and am still obsessed with the place 4 years later. Great people, beautiful country, fantastic music. Finnish is pretty damn tricky, but do-able. I wish I'd made the effort to learn when there instead of relying on "anteeksi, en ymmarra. en ole suomalainen" (very probably mispelled!). Moi moi!
