in kurdish(kurmanji) you say:
"Sala nû li te piroz be". or "sala nû bo te qenc be" i remember when i was child together with my friends we wre chanting every new year in front of our neighbors houses and we than were asking them to give us something to eat.it was like this:
Serê salê binê Salê
Xwedê kurekî bide kevanîya vê malê
Serê salê binê Salê
Xwedê keçekê bide kevanîya vê malê
(Top of the year Beneath of the year
May God give a boy to this home's housewife
