Hey Goofy ! It's not because you don't understand it that it stupid !!!!

In fact it's pretty Simple, you have 4 tries to reach a certain distance wich is measured in feets. You can do it by two means, first, a Forward pass wich can be done only behind the starting line, or a run just like in rugby except that the try stops when the guy touches the ground.... that's the basic rules... Still I prefer soccer but here in Canada it's not really well accepted. In fact, this summer will be the first summer that the montreal Impact, our home soccer team. will be broadcasted on TV. !

I think The Champions league Final match between Liverpool & Milan was a perfect match.And also the organisation in Istanbul was great.

The technique is more beautiful in soccer. When you see Zidane, Ronaldo , Nedved, Figo, Beckam..... It's very impressive and they create new technique every day.

I'm an American... and I don't like American football. Maybe it's just because I'm a girl, but I really prefer soccer. It's much more graceful, and the power of the players is beautiful to watch. foot foot foot foot foot

Chemise, Not everyone can simplify the rules as simply as you do. I've known many Americans who didn't understand the rules and I forgot to mention the strategies involved. Once most people take the time to understand the rules and strategy, they genereally enjoy it. Most who don't, never take the time to understand. Mike

How can people say they dislike American Football just, because they dont understand the rules. I play American Football now for 3 years IN SWITZERLAND(where soccer is played mostly). I needed one month to understand the rules well of course Madden Football games helped me understand it. Its i think the beautifullest sport ever and I dont understand people who say they disklike it. The rules are easy: There are 2 teams on the field, a offense one and a defense one. Both teams have an offense and a defense so 22 players. At first the Ofense one makes a ball snap(the thing with the ´´hut-hut´´). And then they try to get or run as much yards as they can. And the defense tries to block them. There are three possibilites of offense:Passing, Running and Kicking. And they try to get into the enemy team´s end zone, where they can make a touchdown. And there are different kinds of strategies included fakes and so on. So appereantly its the easiest game ever. See y´all!!! Greetings from switzerland!!!

American football or soccer? me I love soccer , I don't understand american football! it's stupid the american football, I prefere the rugby it's physic too, and lot of more interessing.
