I want to share with you a site I discovered a few days ago. It's called Livemocha (www.livemocha.com), and members can take 160 hours of beginning or intermediate lessons in French, German, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Hindi or English. Membership is totally FREE. Exercises on the lessons involve writing and speaking, and students receive feedback on their grammar and choice of idioms from other members natives of the language being learnt. So, if you are a French person learning Chinese, you will be receiving feedback on your written and spoken exercises from Chinese natives members of the site. In turn, as a French person, you may give feedback on exercises of students learning French.

I started the Chinese lessons and am very happy with the results. The most interesting part of the learning process was getting the native reviewers' comments. They are from different ages , backgrounds, experience, cultures, thinking styles...
