Possibly the most efficient way to learn any language

Hey folks! I've recently read that the first 25 most common words make up about one-third of all printed material in English. And the first 100 make up about one-half, and the first 300 make up about sixty-five percent of all written material in English. Which to a large extent applies to conversational English as well.

I was thinking about an idea of some sort of short story or literature that uses all those most common words in as close to the exact order as possible, while still being somewhat of a fun read. You translate this into multiple languages and you have a quick and simple tool to learn a new language. Maybe use the top 1000.

I'm sure this could help a lot. There are many of these important common words that people forget to learn, but they make the biggest difference in your ability to communicate in another language.

Of course many of the top words are grammatical, and some may not even be used in certain languages. But this would make for a great guideline.
