Y'all as a pronoun in english I was wondering if anyone learning english is tought 'y'all'. It might just be a reigonal thing. Another question is if anyone uses it in the UK. My english teacher at school uses it and so do I. It is the normal thing in Texas, were I live.
If you dont know what it is, it is a contraction of 'you all' and is used for a second person plural pronoun. And would take the place of the plural 'you'.
example. 'Are yall finished yet?'
' Yall are responsible for yalls things'
