Female programmers around the world Hi, I recognized that there aren't many women / girls in Germany, who like computers or especially programming. Therefore I'd like to know what this is like in other countries? Are there any female programmers using polyglot? Are there e.g. more female programmers in India or somewhere else?

I'm from Russia and in our country we have many female programmers. Of cource their count is less than count of male programmers, but it's count increase. I work in IT company, I'm not programmer, but my work connect with computers. I'm tester, I test, install programm and sometimes fix small bugs.
As for learning language, all programmer must know technical english and it concern to famale programmers =)
