      Hi, I can teach you Chinese  if you want to. Mandarin is my mother tongue. I can't speak Cantonese, which seems a  foreign language for me.

          You'd be better off learning Mandarin if you want to go the Beijing. They don't speak Cantonese there. It's only spoken in the southern provinces of Guangdong and Guangxi, and the SARs of Hong Kong and Macau.
