La semaine derniè re, le meeting avait é té annulé pour cause de travaux. Nous nous excusons pour ceux qui n'avaient pas pu avoir l'information et qui sont venus quand mê me.

As announced a week before, we did not attend this Thursday's Polyglot Meeting at the Biarritz Bar, because it was supposed to close momentarily. We do hope that you all read our posts =) We will keep you informed of the latest developments =)

The Biarritz Bar may undergo rebuilding works, and therefore, it might be closed as of Thursday 22 February 2007. We'll keep you updated ASAP, so read our posts regularly.

Although i said to some of you, that this thursday meeting may be canceled because the Biarritz was closing but i confirm that THIS THURSDAY 28th OF DECEMBER THE MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE

Wow! I recommend this Beaujolais nouveau to all new- (and old-) bies in France! I mean it's still a Beaujolais, but this year, I found it particularly sweet...

Thursday 16 November is Beaujolais Night. We'll be tasting the "Beaujolais nouveau", fresh off the barrel! And the Biarritz Bar who kindly hosts our Thursday Meetings will offer the traditional matching cold cuts (sauce, saucisses, saussisson, saussettes et seau pour les estomacs fragiles -)

Oh MY! Last night (Thursday 5 Oct) was UN-believable! So many new, happy and friendly faces! I heard conversations in at least TEN different languages, and it felt just like being on a trip -)

Oui, tu peux mettre des photos : quand tu écris un nouveau message. En bas de l’écran, tu as un bouton pour " uploader " des images. Il arrive (selon version du navigateur), que cela ne marche pas.

Sinon, y’a pas de problème, tu peux me les envoyer par mail

décidémment je comprendrai jamais comment mettre une photo la dessus, je vais donc les envoyer à Vincent et lui donner un peu de travail... :) A savoir, ce ne sont que des photos de la fin de soirée, donc peut de gens, je n'avais pas pensé a sortir l'appareil plus tot. Et, toujours à savoir, c'est une qualité plus que médiocre, promis je ferai mieux tout à l'heure!

No fear Elean, Polyglots are quite a friendly bunch! I won't be there this Thursday, but if you hang in there long enough, you may see my Mediterranean suntan. Can't wait!

I'm afraid, I might miss the radio broadcast about Polyglot on "Radio Bleue". I hope that some radio buff can tape it for the benefit of our fast-growing community =)

For those who come for the first time, I think it is best to meet inside the café Biarritz. If you arrive early at 8:00 pm for example, the bar is not full yet so to see who is a polyglot just ask the bartender or listen to the foreign conversations .... and you'll meet right away a polyglot. -)

Ca y est j'ai eu le_mage_violet (journaliste chez France Bleu Ile de France) qui me confirme le passage du reportage enregistré Jeudi dernier sur France Bleu Ile de France Jeudi matin entre 6h et 9h. Je vous conseille de brancher la radio ce Jeudi matin avant d'aller au boulot !!!
