Hi guys!
Just a tiny suggestion. I went to Peru three years ago and it was magic. I don't know if you want to do the INCA trail but I strongly suggest you to do it! It is not too hard (unless you never go to the gym) and it is awsome. It is mandatory to do it with a travel agency. Mine was SAS travel...the most expensive one, I have to say but the organization was great. The tour guide was very well prepared and the food was excellent. Considering how delicious the peruvian food is, I would suggest you this agency only for that. Remeber that for us, coming from sterilized countries, it is very important to be sure that what we eat is not contaminated. And you will not have any problems with them. Expect anyway some stromach trouble (in three weeks it will happen) and bring some wide spectrum antibiotics with you.
That's it. Have fun!
Lucia
hey guys.
it would be great this event in my country hope you can really define the date soon

Hi, dears,
I’d like to resume the details concerning the trip to Péru and to organise a meeting with all of you.
I sugest
- to postpone the trip for early November so we can get a flight price under 900 € We need to buy the tickets at least 4 months in advance ( latest end of June),
- to fix a budget to maximum 2 000 € per person.,
- to stay in Peru 19 days ( 3 weeks with flight time ),
- to meet as soon as possible and share details concerning places to visit and places to sleep.
Please check your Polyglot mail box. I sent a message giving my phone number to all those who have already registered. My Polyglot Pseudo is “Max08” please contact me and let me know your e-mails or phone numbers so we could organise a meeting as soon as possible.
See you soon

Hi Everybody,
Here are some informations concerning that trip.
It seems August in Peru is quite cold. Like February in Europe. Most of the interesting places to visit are in the High Mountains between 2000 and 4000 m over the sea level. The cheapest flights to Lima for August starts at 1500 Euros. Flights to La Paz are more expensives.
In a case we postpone that trip to November ( whether is like May in Europe ) we could have better season and actual prices for November start at 860 Euros from Paris and 701 Euros from Bruxel.
I suggest we meet and talk on the saturday meeting the 7th of June 2008. In mean time I will appriciate your comments.
It will be nice if someone can help to find out low cost prices between Madrid and Lima. I faced some problems. Thank you in advance.
I am very glad to prepare that trip with you. I hope we will climb the Andes together.
Cheers
Max

Hi Everybody,
I would like to join you to go to Peru. Have you defined dates? By now I'm in Hollidays between the 21st of July and the 3rd of August. But perhaps I can change. How long do you want to stay? Perhaps can I have one week more.
Thanks for telling me more...
Matt

Hey guys,
I just saw your message and I think it's a good idea! I'm peruvian and I've been living in Paris for about two years now. I won't be going to Peru this summer but I have some tips for the people that will go. I have quite a few friends (that speak english bien sûr!) that could help you around. Everybody knows that sometimes it's better to have some one (young and fun to be with!) at the country you'll visit than to rely on your Lonely Planet Guide...
Like in June, July and August gets cold there (winter months) and get very humid... anyway... let me know if you are interested!
Cheers,
Daniel
we would like to organise the meeting to speak about the transport, hotels, itinerary, program, etc., you can have some more informations tomorow in basile !

Hi, everybody
It seems Peru is a splended country. Various nature (ocean beaches in the NW, jungle in the NE, high mountains), buildings from the Eldorado age, Inca’s dwellings, reach museums and very friendly people. I am sure we can find polyglots there and spend a great time. It can be a marvellous adventure. We invite you to register and share what places would you like to visit.
Waiting for yours suggestions. I will be happy to take part in this adventure.
Max
