Aloha, dear Polyglots!

Haven't you been to our  meetings yet?  (wink)
Due to people longing for more frequent meetings,
We're starting to gather every Thursday! =)
7p.m.

The next meeting is on 4th of September!

The recent meetings were great!
Check out the 'Photos' section!

About the meetings:
Mostly we speak English there,
but French, German, Spanish and all other languages are heartily welcome!
Russian-language learners easily find support here as well
(wink)

The Venue: Kafé -Stolovaya № 1'Kopeika' Quite traditional...

It's a combination of conventional café and Soviet-Epoch-style dining hall ('Stolovaya').
So the interior must be interesting for those who haven't been living
in USSR as well as for those who just forgot that time =)
(Take a look at the  foto below)

Another advantage of the place - it has a LOT of chairs around,
so we can create any incredible groups of chatters =)

See you there, pals!

IN BRIEF:

WHAT?

For all the Polyglots - experienced and beginners - who are interested in  language exchange gathering.
The idea is to propose a reunion to speak as many foreign languages as possible.

Please REGISTER HERE if you are interested =)

Heavy-duty-fotocameras are welcome!! :-)

WHERE ?

Address: Nizh. Krasnoselskaya, 40

Aw, vince, it's easy! =)
I'm just preparing a couple sheets of paper with the table on them,
every participant is supposed to write down his/her name,
country or tick the networks they are in (pglot/cs/facebook).
It take only 30 seconds from a person to fill in the data in the table.
I can send an example of the table if you like!
Cheers,
Alex

great reports! Now you must be the one who give advices How do you manage to get all those stats ?!

Comment written by Send a message vincent on Aug 29, 2008 @ 09:42

Hihi, people, ain't you bored of my reports?

You ask me whether it was fun? Definitely!
Even though the 'tablets' with the language names
which were supposed to mark language groups were
blown away with the wind, we succeeded to speak
English (no surprise, huh?),
French (with solid support of Coco & Fabio),
Italian (suppose that were Andrea & Alberto who
formed that group =),
Deutsch/Dutch (Je n'sais pas, I don't understand
a word in those languages... yet...)
Anyway, we can brag we could speak 13 languages
yesterday... or maybe even more.
Just to mention:

1. Russian
2. English
3. French
4. German
5. Italian
6. Portuguese
7. Greek
8. Dutch
9. Afrikaans
10. Hindi
11. Spanish
12. Malay
13. Chinese

Hey you ppl!

Polyglot meetings traditionally have been on the second and fourth thursdays.... and from a modest attendance earlier, we have grown to larger numbers and more enthusiastic participation from all!

Keeping this in view, and with the consent of the regulars, we propose to meet EVERY thursday henceforth.... bt before we take the decision and carve it in stone, we will meet next thursday - the 17th of July - for an extra Polyglot session

We will also have our centre-of-universe, Alex Volkov, back by then, and we can decide there whether we want to do it regularly....

So get ready for the extra dose of headrush next thursday and all the French, Spanish, Italian, English, Arabic, Hindi you can handle!

The Venue is our Headquarters: Kafé -Stolovaya № 1'Kopeika'

The meeting is in the  VERANDAH of the Café at  7pm (evening!)

Dear Polyglot admins,

Please check the new POSTER and new FLYER

This will help you have lots of new participants to your meetings.

Print them out and stick them in public places where you know there are lots of foreigners.
