We keep holding our traditional meetings!
And this December we're having more language-oriented evenings
Let's call them non-English-focused conventions
So.
week 2 - Spanish - meetings on 11 & 14 of December
week 3 - French - meetings on 18 & 21 of December
week 4 - Italian - meetings on 25 & 28 of December
The nearest traditional Thursday meeting is on 27th of November!
7p.m.
About the meetings:
Mostly we speak English there,
but French, German, Spanish and all other languages are heartily welcome!
Russian-language learners easily find support here as well
It's a combination of conventional café and Soviet-Epoch-style dining hall ('Stolovaya').
So the interior must be interesting for those who haven't been living
in USSR as well as for those who just forgot that time =)
(Take a look at the foto below)
The advantage of the place - it has a LOT of chairs around,
so we can create any incredible groups of chatters =)
And you can see the photos from the recent meetings -
Check out the 'Photos' section!
See you there, pals!
IN BRIEF:
WHAT?
For all the Polyglots - experienced and beginners - who are interested in language exchange gathering.
The idea is to propose a reunion to speak as many foreign languages as possible.

As for report on the 10.10.2008 meeting,

So have a look at the papers,
I'll just add some statistics about the languages.

19 English-speakers,
5 French-speakers,
6 Spanish-speakers,
3 German,
1 Dutch,
1 Italian,
3 Chinese
2 Malay,
1 Hindi,
1 Urdu,
1 Norsk-speakers...

BTW, we're discussing a start of second day a week for Polyglot meetings,
some of week-end days.
It was proposed by CS people, so discussion is carried on there:

Yeah, vince!
Pity I had no time to publish the detailed report for the last meeting,
but I'm sure the participants had fun that time,
so absence of the report won't corrupt anything
and the gathering tonight will have success just as usual
