Mi nombre es Israel, y quiero aprender ingles y la mejor forma que creo que hay es escuchando y intentarlo hablar tengo ganas de ir a una de las reuniones que haceis pero la verdad que no se hablar ingles y lo mismo me siento un poco incomodo.
bueno intentare mejor mi ingles y asi poder ir lo antes posible a una reunion.

Hi, Vincent,

Atipically at the media, in this case they don't exagerate but also do the opposite! The venue is huge and has several parts so I think they have a look at the central area and don't realise that almost all the crowd at the pub makes part of the meeting too. Here it's other example: information in El Paí s last February (" U.N. in an Irish pub" ) they estimated only 100 to 200 people. As for your meetings, your begining is being more impressive than any other, in my opinion. 70 people or more already, 3 days a week (!), make foresee an awesome future (present, actually). I am sure that you see the group grows week by week: the newcomers enjoy much so they repeat and increase the group more and more. Looking forward to seeing you in Madrid!!

Hi David,
Your meetings have been an example for polyglotclub who is trying to develop the concept around the world.
Meetings in Paris are now every tuesday, wednesday and thursday : reaching a maximum of 70 people on tuesday.
But I am amazed to see the number of people at your meetings : 200?
I hope to visit in Madrid soon

Hi, Polyglots,

Some weeks ago, I received a call from Telemadrid, the Madrid public TV channel. They told me they wanted to make a report of the best language exchange in town. So they were our guests for a couple of hours, they were recording, interviewing& hellip we had a lot of fun. Here you are the result:

But this is not the end of the story, after that we were recorded for another report, this time for TVE, the public and most important TV channel in Spain (we'll be seen also all around the world, through the satellite TVE internacional).

And yesterday, esMadrid, another channel, came along and made our third TV report.

Hi, Jessica,
It is a shame you are not in Madrid, you would be very welcome in our group, of course. We meet every Tuesday and the atmosphere and people are great. There are many diferent languages to spoke, Vietnamese included (actually the Vietnamese girl who sometimes come along is American-Vietnamese, she grew up in the USA and speak perfect English too).
Remember to pass over if you come to Madrid. Also, if you allow me, I
can give your email address to the people interested in a language exchange with
you.

i read the news about your group .I i am very interested in it .i really want to join in your group ,but i study and live in the netherlands .i do not have opportunity to meet your members in order to practise language.May i practise something from your group on the internet. I really want to improve my foreign languages.
