Hello Terry,
I am a new polyglot member. I'm wondering if the weekly language exchange activity will continue in summer vacation, for I may not be able to join you until the very end of this semester. Besides, will the meeting time always be the same (every Friday evening) next semester? It's important to me since I may have to work in the evening next semester, and I need to spare the time for the polyglot activity. I sincerely look forward to your reply.
Best,
Lydia

Dear Polyglot Members in Taiwan:
Thanks to your support, we had 10 great meetings in Taipei. Due to the new policy of the Kentucky Fried Chicken (NTU), where our meeting normally takes place, it is no longer suitable for our meeting. However, we still have 1 planned meeting at the Kentucky Fried Chicken. The last meeting before the end of the year will be on December 7th at the same Kentucky Fried Chicken. Please come and let's celebrate the Xmas and the end of the year in advance ! After that, we will try to find a better place for our meeting and start the meeting again as soon as possible. Please visit this site regulary and we will also inform you of every coming Polyglot Meeting in Taipei! Thank you again!
If you still want to practice langauges during our absence. "NTU multi-language exchange club" would be an ideal option. The information about this club will be posted soon.
Best Regards
Taiwan Polyglot Administrator
Terry HSIEH

Terry,
Good to hear that Polyglots are true die-hards, and that foreign language learning actually contributes to the strengthening of one's knees

Get well quick!
And the only parallel between finance markets and Polyglot, is that they are BOTH unavoidable benchmarks. Curb it up, pal!

ok : i'm glad you are recovering

don't worry about polyglot meeting and stock market : it will eventually go up

My knees are recoverying well. I will be able to hold the next Polyglot meeting. On the other hand, according to my friend, there were not many people yesterday, about 10 people. It was just like our stock market. A week ago there was a boost. However it is a total disaster this week.

Terry, I hope this is not too serious!
Sorry to hear that, please let us know how you are healing
best regards,
