First joint Bangkok Polyglot & Couchsurfing meeting, 27-10-07

Here's your chance to become a 'founding member' of a future Bangkok tradition: Two communities who share common values such as free exchange and international friendship join forces on Saturday, October 27th, to hold the first Polyglotclub/Couchsurfing meeting in Bangkok.

As we have values and the spirit in common, we plan to bring the two groups together in Bangkok from time to time like in Paris where Polyglot all started.

So anyone wanting to practice a language is welcome to join the group at the WOC Club, a bar at Siamsquare Centerpoint. The idea is to meet people and have conversations in a your mother tongue as well as in foreign languages which you learn or teach. English, French, Spanish, Italian and Thai are sure to be represented, and many more exotic languages will be available as members sign up for the event. Since this is a first time event, for the organisers it would really be helpful if you could sign up below with the number of people you bring.

We'll be there from 8:00 p.m until people have had enough or the place closes...

Directions:
BTS: Skytrain exit 2, on the right hand side of Centerpoint.
If you are coming from the other side, facing the Centerpoint sign, it's immediately on your left, on the floor above the Siam Laser Clinic.

Sawat-dii kap, Polyglots. Great you could join us at the last moment, Earth! Thanks everyone for coming and kicking of the meeting tradition in Bangkok with 11 languages represented: English, Thai, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Hungarian, Russian and Japanese!

That was fun, I wish you a great meeting on 11/11. You'll find a photo on the corresponding tab shortly.
