==Forming the Future Tense==
The future tense in Standard Moroccan Tamazight is formed by adding the suffix -ən to the verb stem. For example, the verb stem for the verb "to write" is ɣ- and the future tense of this verb is ɣən.


The future tense can also be formed by adding the prefix ɣa- to the verb stem. For example, the verb stem for the verb "to read" is ɛ- and the future tense of this verb is ɣaɛ.

Conjugation of the Future Tense[edit | edit source]

To form the future tense in Standard Moroccan Tamazight, we use a particle /s/, followed by the verb in the present tense. Here is the conjugation of the future tense for the verb "to speak":
