Burmese Grammar - Give your Opinion

Hi Burmese learners! 😊
In this lesson, we will learn how to give your opinion in Burmese. We will look at the different ways to express your opinion and how to use them in a sentence.

Expressing Your Opinion

Giving your opinion in Burmese is quite simple. There are two main ways to do it: using the verb kyin or using the phrase kyin hma.

The verb kyin is used to express your opinion about something. It can be used in both affirmative and negative sentences. For example:

  • Kyin - I think so.
  • Kyin lo - I don't think so.

The phrase kyin hma is used to express your opinion about someone or something. It can also be used in both affirmative and negative sentences. For example:

  • Kyin hma - I think he/she/it is good.
  • Kyin hma lo - I don't think he/she/it is good.
