  • To ask for the price of an item, use the phrase "هڪ ڪڌه جو قيمت ڇا آهي؟" (hik kado jo qimat cha ahi?) which means "what is the price of this item?".
  • To ask for the size of a specific item, use the phrase "هڪ ڌنڊڻي جي سائز ڇا آهي؟" (hik dhandāṅī je saiz cha ahi?) which means "what is the size of this shirt?".

  • To ask whether a shop has an item in a specific size, use the phrase "<size> ۾ هيٺو آهي؟" (<size> me͘ hīt̤o ahi?) which means "do you have it in <size>?". For example, "وڌيڪ ۾ هيٺو آهي؟" (vā́dīk me͘ hīt̤o ahi?) means "do you have it in extra large?".

Asking for Prices

Here are some phrases that you can use to ask for prices:

  • To negotiate the price of an item, use the phrase "ٽڪٽ ڳالهايو" (t̤ikat̤ gholayo) which means "make it cheaper".
  • It's common practice to bargain over prices in Sindhi markets. If the seller is unwilling to lower the price, you can politely say "نهيڪ آھي" (nahēk ahi) which means "it's too expensive".

Making Purchases

Here are some phrases that you can use while making purchases:
