Education in Lithuania[edit | edit source]

Before we start with the vocabulary, let's briefly talk about the education system in Lithuania.

Lithuania has a three-level education system. The first level is primary education, which is compulsory for children aged 6 to 10. The second level is basic education, which is mandatory for students from 10 to 16 years old. Finally, the third level is higher education, which includes universities and colleges.
