Here are some common school subjects and their Sinhala translations:

- Person 2: මට සිංහල යන භාෂාවෙන් සාමාන්‍ය විෂයයන් පහලින් බාගත කරන්නේද. මම ඉංග්‍රීසියෙන් ඡායාරූප පොත් එකක් විකල්ප කරන්නෙමු. ("Mata Sinhala yana bhashawen samanya vishayann pahalun baa-gath karanne. Mama ingirisiyenne chayaa-rooma pota ekak wiklu-karanne-mu." - "I prefer to study general subjects in Sinhala. I read my chemistry textbook in English though.")

Here are the levels of education and their Sinhala translations:

- Person 2: නැත්තටම ඉගෙනීම සම්පූර්ණයි. මම සාමාන්‍ය පොහොර විෂය හා මානව පොහොරවල අධික ප්‍රවීණියක් ලෙස ඉගෙන ගනිමින් මම ඉගෙනුම මාර්ගයක් විය. ("Nattama igenim sampurnayi.
