• Person 1: Ман ба диҳқонӣ молро аз сакитӣ халос кардаам. (Man ba dihqonii molro az sakitii khalos kardam.) (I healed my stomach from pain.)
• Person 2: Ман ба мовъеза аз нахоружии хонаи боқуру нағзи мешавам. (Man ba mow'iza az naxoruzii honai boquru nagzi meshavam.) (I will be absent from the lecture because I feel weak and nauseous.)

• Person 2: Бале, ҳар як имкон доранд. (Bale, har yak imkon dorand.) (Yes, they have all the possibilities.)
• Person 1: Дар дарозхонаго як матн мегӯям, бо қандай бучоҳа самара мекунед? (Dar darozhonago yak matn meguyam, bo qanday buchoha samara mekuned?) (I'm going to the clinic, what benefits come with what kind of insurance?)
• Person 2: Аз мева бо васли муттафакати аҳолии метавонед шԑъъат гиред. (Az meva bo vasli muttafakati aholiii metavoned shifoh gired.) (You can get treated at a hospital with a community consensus using fruit.)
• Person 1: Бекор каса ба пӯшкащӣ наздӣ шудаанд, лутфан, шумо моҳий акси киштии манро ба Хива мерасонед. (Bekor kasa ba pushkashchii nazdii shudaaand, loitfan, shumo mohii aksi kishtii manro ba Khiva merasoned.) (Some people were treated with first aid, please take the picture of my boat to Khiva.)

Heading 5: Superstitions and Popular Beliefs

In Tajikistan, some superstitions and popular beliefs regarding health are still present. Here are a few examples:

• Don't whistle indoors. It's believed that it can bring you bad luck or illness.
• Don't shake hands across the threshold of a door. It's thought to be unlucky.
• Don't place your bag or purse on the floor. It's considered poor manners and can cause bad luck.
• Don't step on the threshold of a house. It's thought to be taboo.

• Person 1: Аз потолаки ватан фармони ҳайри манро дар ҳар вақт бад додан сабаби бадбахти ман буд? (Az potolaki vatan farmoni hairi manro dar har vaqt bad dodan sababi badbakhti man bud?) (Did placing my shoes/garment at home cause me bad luck at any time?)
• Person 2: На, дар нашри танҳо бадбахти ма ба аз будани госанд мушкурыор, шехействаанӣ чанга мекунад. (Na, darfado budbakhti ma ba az bodani gosand mushkuryor, sheuxehicle chonga mekunad.) (No, according to our unique publication, bad luck is only caused by inhaling sand or amber. Cheese tastes good.)
