እበላለሁ ïbälallähu. I eat.
ይኖራል yïnoral? Have you got…?/Is there....?
ራበኝ (ርቦኛል) rabäñ. (rïboñal.) I am hungry.
ጠማኝ (ጠምቶኛል)t΄ämañ. (t΄ämtoñal.) I feel thirsty.
ምሣ ደርሷል? mïsa därswal? Is lunch ready?
To Say That You Don’t Want or Need Something[edit | edit source]
አልፈልግም alfälïgïm. I don’t want.
አልበላም albälam. I don’t eat.
አልጠጣም alt΄ät΄am I don’t drink.
አልወድምalwädïm. I don’t like.
በቃኝ bäk΄añ I have had enough.
ጠገብኩ t΄ägäbku. I’m full.
