In this lesson, we will learn about health-related vocabulary in Marathi language. Your health is your biggest asset, and knowing how to discuss it in Marathi can be very important. Before we move on to the specific vocabulary, let's first learn some common phrases related to health.

तुम्हाला काय आहे? Tumhala kāya āhe? How are you?
मला थोडं दुखतंय Mala thodं dukhatay I have a little pain.
डॉक्टरांनी मला या दवांची सल्ल्या आहेत ḍọ ktarānnī malā yā davāṁcī sallyā āhẹt The doctor has prescribed this medicine for me.

Note: If you need to see a doctor while in Maharashtra, you can visit a "वैद्यकीय" (vaīdyakīya) clinic. Most clinics in big cities have English-speaking doctors, but if you are in a rural area, it is best to take along someone who can speak Marathi.
