Hello Turkmen learners! đ
In today's lesson, you will learn how to form some continuous moods in Turkmen.
Adding -ber- after the verb stem and before any suffixes gives the sense of âgo on doingâ
e.g.
- Oturberäý - please go on sitting!
also the verbs ýÜrmek, otyrmak, durmak, and ýatmak are used to add a continous sense.
Use them with perfect participles:
e.g.
- Olar gezip ýÜrler - they're going for a walk.
- Ol ukläp Ă˝atyr â He is sleeping.
- Myrat dynç alyp Ă˝atyr â Murad is resting.
- ĂagyĹ Ă˝agyp dur â It is raining.
- Biz garaĹyp otyrys â We are waiting.
- Ol heniz hem okap ýÜr â He is still studying.
