In Thai, we use a polite formulas at the end of the sentences that differs according to the sex of the speaker. So when a woman speaks, she will say Kha and when it's a man, it will be Khrap.

In Thailand, we do not make the kiss, we do not shake hands and we even less give hugs. A simple greeting by joining hands to the level of the face (as for a prayer) and "sawatdii khrap / kha" is enough.

Bangkok is said "Khrung Thep". This is a shortcut because its full name is unpronounceable! I give it to you for information with translation: “Krung Thep mahanakhon amon rattanakosin mahintara ayuthaya mahadilok phop noppharat ratchathani burirom udomratchaniwet mahasathan amon piman awatan sathit sakkathattiya witsanukam prast” which means "City of Angels, great city, residence of the Emerald Buddha, impregnable city of god Indra, great capital of the world chiselled of nine precious stones, happy city, generous in the enormous Royal Palace like the heavenly abode, reign of the god reincarnated, city dedicated to Indra and built by Vishnukarn ".
