Asking for Directions

To ask for directions, you can use the following phrases:

• Моля, на къде е <place>? (Molya, na kade e <place>?) - Excuse me, where is <place>?
• Къде е <place>? (Kade e <place>?) - Where is <place>?

For example:

• Моля, на къде е банката? (Molya, na kade e bankata?) - Excuse me, where is the bank?
• Къде е магазинът? (Kade e magazinat?) - Where is the shop?

Giving Directions

To give directions, you can use the following phrases:

• Идете направо. (Idete napravo.) - Go straight.
• Завийте наляво. (Zaviyte nalevo.) - Turn left.
• Завийте надясно. (Zaviyte nadyasno.) - Turn right.
• Първата/втората/третата улица наляво/надясно. (Parvata/vtorata/tretata ulitsa nalevo/nadyasno.) - The first/second/third street on the left/right.
• Намирате се в близост до <place>. (Namarate se v blizost do <place>.) - You are near <place>.

For example:

• Идете направо и след това завийте наляво на кръстовището. (Idete napravo i sled tova zaviyte nalevo na krastovishcheto.) - Go straight and then turn left at the crossroads.
• Завийте надясно на площада и ще видите магазина на ляво. (Zaviyte nadyasno na ploshchada i shte vidite magazina na lyavo.) - Turn right at the square and you will see the shop on the left.
• Първата улица наляво е улица "Дунав" и банката е на края на улицата. (Parvata ulitsa nalevo e ulitsa "Dunav" i bankata e na kraya na ulitsata.) - The first street on the left is "Dunav" street and the bank is at the end of the street.
